ALLPOWERS R600 and SP027: solar input, cable and compatibility

Can one SP027 charge the R600? Compare the exact UK-model input, panel voltage and current, required cable and version limits.

Can these products be connected?

Manufacturer-listed pairing

ALLPOWERS lists SP027 as a compatible panel for the R600. The cited single-panel voltages and currents fit the documented input limits; use the matching solar-to-XT60 cable and confirm the labels on your units.

Conditions before connection

  • The SP027 listing gives 100 W, 17.8 V and 5.16 A; these are retained as published. Their product is not used to replace the nameplate power, and the page advises checking the unit-specific manual.
  • One unmodified panel only. This comparison does not approve series/parallel arrays or mixing panel revisions.
  • Use the manufacturer-specified charging input and cable. Check connector keying, polarity and cable ratings against the actual equipment; a matching connector name alone is not approval.
  • Do not connect a panel to an AC input or a DC output. Do not bypass protection or alter wiring to force a connection.
  • Manufacturer-listed pairing is not a laboratory test by Factinery. Nameplate watts are not a promise of charging speed.

Not assessed here: Firmware compatibility; Extension battery compatibility; UPS performance; Recall clearance; Multi-panel array design.

Why these two model names matter

The R600 page identifies AP-SS-005-PRO. The SP027 source identifies AP-SP-027 and warns that specifications can vary between versions. Keep those identities with the comparison rather than treating every product sold as a 100W ALLPOWERS panel as interchangeable.

What the comparison establishes

The panel open-circuit value is below the station ceiling and its working voltage is inside the input window. Its documented working and short-circuit currents are also below the R600 published input limit. These checks support the manufacturer listing for one panel; they are not an approval of extra panels or a guarantee that charging will reach the nameplate wattage.

Cable and purchasing check

The panel uses solar connectors, while the station uses XT60. Confirm that the cable supplied with your particular bundle is the correct solar-to-XT60 cable. An Anderson adapter supplied with another kit is not the station input. Keep the panel version and cable part description together in the purchase record.

Compare the other documented power-station and panel combinations.
