OUKITEL P1201 and PV200: solar input and panel-version checks

P1201 has a different solar voltage ceiling from P2001 Plus. Compare one PV200, the XT60 connection and conflicting published Isc values.

Manufacturer-listed pairing

OUKITEL lists a P1201 and 200W panel kit. The single-panel voltage and working current on the cited PV200 page fit the P1201 manual limits. However, the standalone panel page and kit page disagree on short-circuit current, so match the panel label and manufacturer-supplied cable before relying on this comparison.

Conditions before connection

  • PV200 short-circuit-current conflict remains open: 12.8 A on the standalone page versus 11.4 A on the kit pages. No revision equivalence is assumed.
  • One unmodified panel only. This comparison does not approve series/parallel arrays or mixing panel revisions.
  • Use the manufacturer-specified charging input and cable. Check connector keying, polarity and cable ratings against the actual equipment; a matching connector name alone is not approval.
  • Do not connect a panel to an AC input or a DC output. Do not bypass protection or alter wiring to force a connection.
  • Manufacturer-listed pairing is not a laboratory test by Factinery. Nameplate watts are not a promise of charging speed.

Not assessed here: Firmware compatibility; Extension battery compatibility; UPS performance; Recall clearance; Multi-panel array design.

Keep P1201 separate from P2001 Plus

The P1201 manual permits a lower solar-input voltage ceiling than the P2001 Plus. Do not apply a limit found for the larger model simply because both have an XT60 socket. This record covers the P1201 1200W/960Wh unit only.

The Isc conflict is retained

The standalone PV200 listing and the kit page present different short-circuit-current values. Both original values are retained below rather than silently choosing one. The matching product label, document revision and intended cable should resolve which table belongs to the panel being purchased.

The supported configuration is a single panel

The company sells the named kit, but this does not approve two panels in series or parallel. Their combined voltage or current is a different case. This guide does not supply an array-wiring recipe, and it does not treat the station protection circuit as permission to exceed an input rating.

Compare the other documented power-station and panel combinations.
