ALLPOWERS R1500 LITE and SP033: one-panel compatibility

A model-specific comparison of the R1500 LITE input and 18V SP033 panel, without transferring limits from the original R1500.

Can these products be connected?

Manufacturer-listed pairing

The R1500 LITE official compatible-panel list includes SP033. For the documented 18 V / 200 W SP033 version, the cited voltages and currents fall within the LITE input limits. Use a solar-to-XT60 connection matched to the unit.

Conditions before connection

  • SP033 values here are for the cited 18 V polycrystalline version. Do not substitute SP035, SE200 or another SP033 revision without checking its label.
  • One unmodified panel only. This comparison does not approve series/parallel arrays or mixing panel revisions.
  • Use the manufacturer-specified charging input and cable. Check connector keying, polarity and cable ratings against the actual equipment; a matching connector name alone is not approval.
  • Do not connect a panel to an AC input or a DC output. Do not bypass protection or alter wiring to force a connection.
  • Manufacturer-listed pairing is not a laboratory test by Factinery. Nameplate watts are not a promise of charging speed.

Not assessed here: Firmware compatibility; Extension battery compatibility; UPS performance; Recall clearance; Multi-panel array design.

LITE is not the original R1500

Some older product links now lead to the R1500 LITE listing. This guide deliberately uses LITE in the title, record ID and source scope. An owner of the original R1500 must use its own manual; this page does not transfer the LITE input ceiling to another model.

Read the panel values at their stated conditions

The SP033 source specifies standard test conditions. Its nameplate values describe that reference condition, not a measured result at your campsite. The cited source does not provide a voltage temperature coefficient, so this guide does not calculate a safe number of panels for a cold-weather array.

An adapter does not change the electrical limits

The SP033 listing describes solar-to-Anderson and solar-to-DC accessories. Those are not proof that an XT60 cable is included in every package. Obtain the manufacturer-matched solar-to-XT60 cable for the LITE, with polarity and current rating confirmed.

Compare the other documented power-station and panel combinations.
