FOSSiBOT F2400 and SP200: Anderson input and solar compatibility

The original F2400 uses an Anderson solar input. Compare its official manual with the SP200 data and avoid confusing the XT60 output with an input.

Can these products be connected?

Parameters match; not physically tested

The cited SP200 voltages and currents fit the original F2400 manual limits, using the specified Anderson PV input. This is a parameter comparison, not a physical test or confirmation for every revision. Confirm the matching MC4-to-Anderson cable and equipment labels.

Conditions before connection

  • One unmodified panel only. This comparison does not approve series/parallel arrays or mixing panel revisions.
  • Use the manufacturer-specified charging input and cable. Check connector keying, polarity and cable ratings against the actual equipment; a matching connector name alone is not approval.
  • Do not connect a panel to an AC input or a DC output. Do not bypass protection or alter wiring to force a connection.
  • Manufacturer-listed pairing is not a laboratory test by Factinery. Nameplate watts are not a promise of charging speed.

Not assessed here: Firmware compatibility; Extension battery compatibility; UPS performance; Recall clearance; Multi-panel array design.

The port distinction matters

The original manual separately lists an XT60 output. That does not make XT60 the solar input for this version. The charging section names Anderson and shows the solar conversion cable. A guide that looks only for the word XT60 in the specification table can point a user to the wrong port.

One panel is not a full-power array

The SP200 nameplate rating is below the F2400 solar ceiling. This is a smaller source whose cited parameters fit, not a claim that the station will receive its maximum input from one panel. Sunshine, temperature, orientation, cable losses and controller behavior can affect the measured intake.

Scope the revision before using an accessory

This entry is tied to the original 2048Wh F2400 manual and its Anderson connection. A listing labelled F2400 With APP, F2400 Pro or a later hardware revision must be checked against its own port label and manual. Matching the family name alone is not sufficient.

Compare the other documented power-station and panel combinations.
